Heading North East

10 Minute Drive

10 minute drive to seaside town of Bridport with coffee shops, fish and chips, bakery, distillery and dining.  Beautiful safe family beaches and wildflower nature walks.

20 Minute Drive

20 minute drive to Barnbougle/Lost Farm golf courses and Spa 180.  World renowned golf courses, quality restaurants and day spa with stunning view of Anderson Bay.

50 Minute Drive

50 minute drive to Gladstone last stop for great pub food and other supplies on the way to Mount William National Park (30 minutes on from Gladstone).

Heading East

30 Minute Drive

A 30 minute drive east will take you to Derby a world famous mountain bike mecca, with brewery, eateries and Floating Sauna at Lake Derby.  Other eateries at Branxholm on the way.

20 Minute Drive

1 hour and 15 minutes’ drive to Pyengana Farm Dairy and Farmgate Café featuring locally made cheeses.  Other places to visit in the area are the Weldborough Hotel, Pyengana Pub in the Paddock and the St Columbia Falls.

Heading West

20 Minute Drive

20 minute drive to the iconic Bridestowe Lavendar Estate.  Fork it Farm (20 minutes on from Bridestowe), farmgate and dining by meatsmith and artisan producers Kim and Daniel.  From here enjoy touring the North East Wine Route including Clover Hill, Brook Eden, Apogee, Bay of Fires, Dalrymple, Delamere, Sinapius, Jansz and Pipers Book.  A further 30 minutes will take you to George Town and Low Head for mountain biking, historic light house and penguin tours.

Scottsdale and surrounds

10 Minute Drive

Less than 10 minutes drive to rural township of Scottsdale for supermarkets, chemists, Cottage Bakery, Little Rivers Brewery, Scottsdale Military Museum and RSL Club, coffee shops and other eateries.  Ride or walk the North East Rail Trail with bike hire available from the Scottsdale Art Gallery Café.    The 27km North East Rail Trail runs from Scottsdale to the top of the Billycock Hill.   Other walks in the area include Mt Stonach a 5.8km, 2 hour return out and back trail with views taking in the whole of the North East.
